Participatory Design as a Process Ethic (Spring)

Today we will learn about a specific method and approach practitioners use to explore deep questions about the role of computing in society -- Participatory Design. 

By the end of lecture you will:

  1. Learn the importance of applying an established and relevant HCI approach to a situation of interest.
  2. Employ knowledge of major approaches in HCI to design.
  3. Analyze good or bad designs through a theoretical lens.
